Lupita, Letitia and Danai lead stars at EBONY Power 100 gala

All three women, who have returned to the Black Panther sequel after acting in the original movie, gathered together to treat the shutterbugs to a few dazzling star-studded group shots.

Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther, died tragically in 2020 at the age of just 43 after a secret cancer battle, and rather than recasting the role, the sequel has soldiered on with his female costars front and center.

The Ebony Power 100 are selected from across 10 categories including but not limited to ‘business disruptors,’ ‘entertainment powerhouses,’ ‘media mavens,’ ‘style curators’ and ‘STEM trailblazers.’

Amber is one of the media mavens being honored, along with NBC News president Kim Godwin, Wendy Williams’ successor Sherri Shepherd, comedian Ziwe and British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.

Meanwhile the ‘entertainment powerhouses’ count Kandi and Quinta in their number, amid an array of stars ranging from newer names like H.E.R. and Ariana DeBose to legends like Usher and Martin Lawrence.

The ‘dynamic duos’ is a starry list as well, featuring as it does such sizzling celebrity hot couples as Ciara and Russell Wilson as well as Idris Elba with his wife Sabrina.
